Tianjin destroyed imported fruits from Spain

On March 15, personnel from Tianjinn Inspection and Quarantine Bureau destroyed a batch of imported fruits from Spain. This batch of fruits includes more than 2,000 boxes of fresh lemon and oranges, a total of over 20 tons, worth 14,000 Euro. 
 
It is known that this is the first entry of imported fruits from Spain to Tianjin. Last year, Tianjinn Inspection and Quarantine Bureau imported a total of 2,647 batches of fruits, which was a total weight of 139,000 tons, or a total value of $ 140 million. 
 
Among these imported fruits a total of 61 batches are detected as not qualified and thus destroyed.
